Leo Visser
Leo Visser has been dancing since 2013. As soon as he discovered the dances from Bretagne he fell in love with them and seized ever opportunity to learn about them. As possibilities to visit fest-noz were rare, he stared to focus more on how the Breton dances are danced in Balfolk and the differences between the traditional dances and the balfolk version.
Besides the Breton dances Leo also loves the bourrée, where the overlap in communication and connection with the Breton dances is strongly present. Leo travelled all over Europe to learn as much as possible about the bourrée and its history.
