Group Dynamics in Balfolk
During this workshop we will take a look at different dances and how we are a collective during these dances. We’ll look at couple dances but also mixers or group dances and see how the interactions change and what stays the same. Several techniques will be explained to improve our connection to the collective so we can dance more together. We will also do some fun things during these dances which leverage these techniques and play games where we try to steal partners from each other.
In the end we hope you will learn more about the collective in all these dances and learn how to dance more with everybody when also not dancing in a group dance.
