Breton Dances Zero to Hero

This workshop is for those people who look at the dances in chains from Bretagne and wonder “How can I dance these dances?”. During this workshop we will teach how. We won’t teach any specific dances but look at the principles in the dances and at techniques to build up a chain dance in a simple way. This will enable you to join almost any Breton chain dance. In the process of doing this you will learn some common Breton dances. For the more experienced among you we will also look at who are the leaders in the chains, how to start a dance, and be in front of the chain.

Teachers: Leo Visser 

Duration: Preferably at least 2 hours.

Requirements: A sound system where we can plug in laptop in. An even floor, not too slippery.

Prerequisites for participants: No prior knowledge needed.
